    "The tutorial doesn't explain how to animate the poster by placing a camera on it. Is there a QR code on the poster that triggers the animation, or is there another way to activate it?"

    • @solopress
      @solopress Месяц назад

      Good question. Once you've created your project and you click the share button you'll be given a link and QR code. You can share these with the end user however you like (In this instance we shared the link with Hamza, but yes, you can have the qr code on the poster if you like). Once they activate the link or QR code they will be taken to the aero app. The app will then activate the experience once it recognises the trigger image. In this case, the poster design. I hope that helps.

    Don't understand the point of clipping mask You have to separate the pixels you wanna use from the rest of the image in order to make a clipping mask So why not just delete those pixels and put the image you want to appear on the screen on a layer below that

    • @solopress
      @solopress 2 месяца назад

      It's a valid point, and like with most of these programmes, there are more than one way to skin a cat. I prefer using masks instead of deleting because they are less permanent; you can go back and make changes and make things reappear if you change your mind, etc.

    I believe logos don't always have to be small; sometimes they need to be big. Graphic designers aim to showcase their designs better than just a logo. However, for clients, they want their logo to stand out more than others because clients, who are usually business people, want their brand to be more noticeable to their customers and in their marketing. You can observe on shirts, snacks, or signboards that big brands like Nike, Adidas, McDonald's, etc., use large logos. Hence, famous logos and brands can make their logos bigger and frequently do so. Therefore, I think certain communication post designs don't always require a small logo. As a graphic designer, I opt to use a logo that is big enough but reasonable and not always small. When comparing my designs to others in posts, most clients don't always request for a bigger logo. I understand the difference between the 'needs' and 'wants' in the design field. In our small country, most designers say, "Never make the logo big for the client," but I disagree. Hence, I believe I am different from other designers. Now, I have established a small design agency. This is because I understand the 'needs' and 'wants' in the design field.

    Thanks for the tutorial. I wanted to begin drawing pixelart stuff and I had to check out how to do gradients on photoshop. On every other program it is incredibly easy, but on photoshop it is truly a mess. You should not need a tutorial on a tool that is supposed to be intuitive. Thant's when you know the program is badly designed.
